  • Her first boat dive was in the kelp forest off Catalina Island when she was 19, and she grew up swimming in the waves near Redondo Beach, California.
  • One of her favorite memories is diving with sharks off the coast of Hawaii.
  • She also loves to visit Palo Duro Canyon to go hiking and enjoy the clear view of the stars at night.


Nancy has been a professional writer for over 20 years. For her senior technical writing project in college, she chose to create an instructional manual about how to scuba dive. She's worked as a technical writer in the field of software development, and she's also been published on House Digest, CountryPolish, and SmallerLiving.


Nancy has a B.A. in English with a technical writing specialization and minors in history and economics from Texas A&M University.
